Moab
Forrest's Thoughts:
Regrettably, we didn't think to take many pictures. Silly us.
Moab is a desert town. Like most desert towns, it is small. Very small.
There are only a few places worth visiting in a small town, and here are the few places we visited worth visiting in this town.
My favorite was Moab Gear Trader. They buy, sell, and consign outdoor gear. The place has a little bit of everything. They have hammocks, clothes, climbing stuff, and all-terrain gear. Just to name a few. They are also online, at http://moabgeartrader.com/.
Gearheads Outdoor Store has far more than Moab Gear Trader, but their prices are a lot more, well, pricey.
Milt's Stop & Eat is the place to go for food. It's a classic 50's burger and shake shack. Get a shake. They're the best. The burgers aren't gourmet, but well above average.
Lastly, Back Of Beyond Bookstore is a must-go-to. Books, books, books, stuff, books. And good books, too. They have authors like Wendall Berry (very good) and J.K. Rowling (also good) and titles including Michael Vey (not bad) and Inkheart (acceptable).
